The rule
Lame attempts > perfect execution.
Not a slogan. The rule. You show up badly. You film it. You post it. The people who showed up badly yesterday cheer you on. Nobody's in better shape than they should be.

Watch the day's move

3
Film your attempt
Do the movement. Film yourself. Post it. Bad form is fine — it's the point.
4
See everyone else's
Once you post, you unlock the community feed. See how badly everyone started. Notice people by day 20.
Your host
I'm Vinay. I'm not a trainer.
I'm 38. I started boxing because I was tired of feeling 55. My first jab looked stupid. My fighting stance still does, some days.
I'm building First Jab because I want to do this with 99 other people who also want to start badly and stay anyway.

Questions
You might ask.
I'm out of shape. Is this for me?+
Out of shape is the prerequisite, not the disqualifier. Every movement in the program is scaled for beginners — this is Phase 1 of a longer progression.
What if I don't post?+
You post yours to see others. That's the deal. Private to the community — not the internet. Nobody outside the group sees your video.
What if I quit partway through?+
One-time entry. If you bail, we both move on. No recurring charges, no cancellation anxiety.
Do I need a punching bag or gloves?+
No. Shadow boxing works for the entire program. If you have gloves or a bag, use them. If not, your hands and the air are fine.
Will I get punched?+
No sparring. Ever. You punch air or equipment. You never hit another person and nobody hits you.
Is this for women?+
Yes. Mixed community. The movements, longevity concerns, and pain points apply equally.
I'm under 35. Can I join?+
You can. The program is written for 35+ bodies, but anyone's welcome if the format works for you.
How long do I have to complete it?+
As long as you want. 30 days is the guide, not the deadline. The community stays open whether you finish in 30 days or 60.
Is this only for Bangalore?+
Currently focused on India, especially Bangalore — but it's online, so you can join from anywhere.
