At JustLame, we collect and process personal data for various purposes. Please note that we do not sell your Personal Data nor share for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Account Registration and Authentication
- Purpose: We use your data to create and safeguard your JustLame account.
- Data Collected: Email address, password (hashed and not accessible to us), authentication tokens, user ID.
- Retention: For as long as your account exists.
App Personalized Features
- Purpose: We gather and process your Personal Data to provide you with personalized fitness challenges and tracking.
- Data Collected: Username, profile information, fitness challenge data, video content you upload, and interaction data.
- Retention: For as long as your account exists or until you delete your entries.
User Content (Videos and Challenges)
- Purpose: We process videos and challenge content you upload to provide the core functionality of our fitness challenge service.
- Data Collected: Video recordings, challenge submissions, comments, and related metadata.
- Retention: For as long as the content exists or until you delete it.
Subscription Management
- Purpose: We process some of your data to manage user subscriptions, including sign-ups, cancellations, and renewals.
- Data Collected: Email, user ID, subscription status, subscription length, purchase history. Note: We do not have access to sensitive payment information like credit card numbers.
- Retention: Information is stored as long as we maintain active business accounts with Google and Apple.
Analytics
- Purpose: We gather and observe data for identifying trends and making data-driven decisions to enhance app improvements.
- Data Collected: App usage data, including user behavior data presented in an aggregated format.
- Retention: Aggregated data remains accessible indefinitely.
Push Notifications
- Purpose: We use push notifications to deliver updates and reminders.
- Data Collected: Push notification tokens linked to user profiles.
- Retention: For as long as your JustLame account exists.
Cookies
A "cookie" is a small file on your device with device info. We use cookies for server-load balancing purposes and to remember your preferences. We use two types of cookies:
- Session cookies: They are gone when you close your browser.
- Persistent cookies: They might stay after you close your browser but have an expiration date.

How Long We Keep Your Personal Data
We keep your Personal Data for as long as needed for the purpose we collected it and in accordance with our data retention policies. We retain and use your Personal Data as required to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements and policies. If we use your data for multiple purposes, we keep it until the purpose with the longest retention period expires, discontinuing use for shorter periods.

Our company is based in the United Kingdom, and our service providers operate globally. JustLame is not directed at, or intended for use by, children under the age of thirteen.
Data Integrity & Security
We are strongly committed to keeping your Personal Data safe. We have implemented and will maintain technical, administrative, and physical measures that are reasonably designed to help protect your Personal Data from unauthorized processing. Unauthorized processing includes unauthorized access, exfiltration, theft, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Some of those measures include encryption and access control measures. However, it is important to note that we cannot guarantee full security if you continue to use a deprecated version of the app. To ensure the best protection for your Personal Data, we recommend keeping your app up-to-date.
Right to Lodge a Complaint
If the UK or EU General Data Protection Regulation applies to our processing of your Personal Data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you are not satisfied with how we process your Personal Data. In the UK, you can lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

If we make any material change to this Notice, we will post the revised Notice to this web page and notify our users. We will also update the "Last Updated" date. By continuing to use our Services after we post any of these changes, you accept the modified Notice.
